After getting flooded out year after year at our camps by the bridge, we were able to secure a permanent home in Chitina in 2019. In the coming years we intend to develop the property to suit the needs of our charter guests and the local dipnetting community.
We have been a leader in the "full service" dipnet charter business starting on the Kenai River in 2013. Since then, we have grown to be the largest dipnet charter in Alaska and the only one licensed and permitted to operate in all of Southcentral Alaska's dipnet fisheries. We lead the way in safety, techniques, quality equipment and guide qualifications. Setting the bar once again, our campground is another dipnet industry first! Join us this summer!

If you are car camping, staying in a tent or in an RV, we have camp spots for you! Our property is conveniently situated within walking distance to the hotel, country store and tavern. Less noise, dust and chaos than our former campground near the bridge, our RV Park and Campground and is an ideal location for your fishing & travel adventures!
Firewood Bundles: Camping & fire pits go hand in hand so grill up some of that fresh caught Copper River Salmon! Bundles for sale 1 for $7 or 3 for $20
Flake Ice: Flake ice is considerably more dense than cubed and superior for preserving your catch! This is an AK Expeditions exclusive! $7 for 10lb Bag
While our endeavor is young, we are making strides to improve our camp for our guests. This year sites will have access to power, picnic tables, ranch style fire pits and grills. We will be constructing a gazebo so clients and guests have a spot to gather before and after charters, and we have many other exciting projects in the pipeline!
Our camp is ideally situated at Mile 0.0 McCarthy Road adjacent to the Ranger Station and Chitina Wayside. This makes our camp the perfect pit stop before venturing 60 miles down the fabled McCarthy road to Kennicott-McCarthy inside Wrangell-St. Elias National Park and Preserve.
