COVID-19 RESPONSE
We are working with the Alaska Sport Fish and Personal Use COVID-19 Working Group. Being the only Dipnet Charter selected to participate in this group we are helping to define personal use dipnet opportunities for all Alaskans who participate in these fisheries. We have helped shape Alaska Health Mandate 16 Section J.
We are Committed to Safety
We are busy making sure we have systems, supplies and PPE in place to protect our crews, clients and community while adhering to the latest State of Alaska Public Health Mandates. We WILL be operating as we've done in the past however, there will be some changes to address mandate requirements for participants in this fishery.
We need your help in ensuring our safety.
The Department of Fish and Game issued the following guidelines for Alaskans traveling to participate in sport or personal use fisheries outside of their communities of residence:
- Conduct your fishing activities as close to your home residence as possible;
- Local mandates may be authorized under Public Health Mandate 012. Find out local mandates in communities through which you plan to travel and abide by them;
- Totally provision your trip from your community of origin. Don’t plan on buying food, drinks or even fuel (if possible) after you begin your trip and until you return home;
- Practice social distancing while sport or personal use fishing; and,
- Wear face coverings as suggested in Health Alert 010 issued April 3, 2020.
