MUST BE AN ALASKAN RESIDENT TO PARTICIPATE

This a fully guided and outfitted dipnet trip on the Kenai River. We will demonstrate location specific dipnetting techniques and work with you throughout the charter to perfect those skills. Our deckhands will help you remove fish from your net, bonk, gill and place in fish totes we provide. This gets your net back in the water faster to maximize your catch potential. Charter time includes travel time to and from the fishery and is about 5-1/2 hours start to finish.

The Upper Cook Inlet Fishery is classified as a personal use fishery, and dipnets are the only allowable gear. Sport fishing license is required for this fishery. Permits are available online and at local retailers such as Fred Meyer's, Sportsman's Warehouse, & Mountain View Sports. The permits are free. This fishery is managed weekly by Emergency Orders. This is based on fish counts from Kenai River sonar station.

Limits are 25 for head of household + 10ea for additional household members. If open, one of these fish may be a King Salmon.
